The younger you are, the easier it is to learn a second or third language. Baby M just turned two and he amazes me sometimes by randomly saying a word or counting in Spanish, something he picked up from watching just a few minutes of Dora the Explorer here or there. If he and other little children can memorize a foreign language so easily just from observing a few minutes of a TV show, imagine what they could learn from an actual DVD focused on teaching young children another language!
I was recently introduced to Little Pim, the creator of several award winning DVD series that does just that. Directed at children ages 0-6, this foreign language learning program sounds like the perfect thing to help toddlers and young children like Baby M learn another language! The DVDs combine animation and real kids to teach simple words and phrases for everyday activities. Little Pim also offers books, music, apps and flash cards to help further develop foreign language skills. Language learning sets are available in 11 different languages, including Spanish, Italian, French, Chinese, German, Hebrew, Japanese, Arabic, Russian, English and Portuguese.
