Neatnik Saucer High Chair Cover Review & Giveaway!

Neatnik Saucer

Do you ever wish there was an easy way to keep food off the floor when you’re feeding your baby or toddler? I was recently introduced to the Neatnik Saucer, a unique high chair cover that does that and more! I have found this product very useful and am looking forward to telling you some more about it.

Neatnik Saucer High Chair Cover Review

The Neatnik Saucer slips onto standard high chairs and provides a wide area of coverage so that food stays where it should! High chair safety buckles slip through two openings on the Neatnik Saucer so your child is secure, and underneath the placemat portion are two suction cups that attach to the table so the Neatnik Saucer remains in place. The surface is waterproof and makes for easy wipe-up cleaning with baby wipes or a soapy cloth.

In addition to keeping mess off the floor, the Neatnik Saucer also features two loops (one on each side) for attaching toys. This is great because it keeps toys within reach of your baby or toddler without having the risk of your child tossing them on the floor or throwing them into the air. What a great invention!

The Neatnik Saucer folds up for easy travel and fits into the included carrying case. The case has an extra pocket too, for storing baby wipes, pacifier, etc. It took me several tries to figure out how to fold the product so it would fit inside the case, but now that I’ve done it successfully a few times it’s a very quick process.

I received the Neatnik Saucer in the Rome style to review. This style essentially features a wipe-off canvas for dry-erase crayons so your little Michelangelo can go to work at the table! Four dry-erase crayons are included. Baby M loves to draw and do other crafty things, and this is actually one of the main things that drew me to the Neatnik Saucer. At home we have one of those hook-on seats for him that attaches to the table, which is where he eats and does most of his craft activities. It looks like this:

We really like having Baby M at the table as opposed to using a regular high chair, but it does get messy! As you can see (embarrassingly) a bunch of crumbs get in the cracks of the seat and table. And, when Baby M plays with playdough it basically gets smooshed everywhere and can be quite difficult to clean up. I have to watch him closely when he plays with crayons so he doesn’t draw on the table.

When I put the Neatnik Saucer on the chair, all of those problems where solved! No more little crumbs everywhere! And all the mess from his playdough and crayon art is contained. Clean up was so much easier and I don’t have to worry about my table being ruined. This is great!

Overall I think the Neatnik Saucer is a great invention and I only wish we had owned one sooner. I like it especially for art crafting purposes at the table to keep everything contained–off the floor and off the table! We don’t often use high chairs in restaurants because we typically just bring a toddler booster seat with us, but I think it would be fantastic for restaurant high chairs if you do use them.
